Drawing inspiration from the Renaissance architecture of Florence and marked by classic Roman influences reminiscent of European aesthetics, the pavilion's design echoes the façade of the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, the summer home for the Hapsburg dynasty. With its 1,441 rooms and a three-century regal history its name means "beautiful spring" and harkens back to an artesian well that fed the church.

The pavilion’s design has been inspired by Chinese cultural houses. The roof of the houses was used to create the tops of the façade and patterns were used to decorate the entirety of the façade. Also known as Beijing siheyuan, these traditional buildings with deliberately inward-facing structures and a central courtyard were aimed at getting maximum sunlight while ensuring the privacy of the residents.

Take in the grandeur and majesty of the Mikhailo-Arkhangel'skiy Kafedral'nyy Sobor Palace in Izhevsk, an incredible complex of palaces and towers, that was integral to the landscape in the old days. The structure reaches nearly 70 metres tall, boasts five gilded domes, projects murals and mosaic icons. The walls and ceiling are a dramatic canvas on which are depicted original Renaissance, High Baroque, and Rococo-style paintings that are a tribute to the human spirit.
