Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. These are the Terms and Conditions governing the “Dubai Fitness Challenge” (“Challenge”), which will take place at Global Village (“Park”):

1. The Challenge Duration
   The Challenge runs between 1 November to 30 November. (“Term”).

2. The Challenge Details
   The Challenge consists of completing 3,000 steps each night within the Park between 4 p.m. and 12 a.m. on any given day during the Term.

3. Participation Requirements

   • In order to participate in the Challenge, guests must download the Global Village mobile application (“App”).
   • Register their personal accounts and link their personal accounts with their mobile device’s step counting application (i.e. Apple Health for iOS devices), in order to activate the step counter in the App.
   • By activating the step counter and taking part in the Challenge, the participant is accepting all the terms and conditions applicable to the Challenge.

4. Activation of Step Counter

   • The step counter in the App can only be activated once the participant enters any gate of the Park and remains inside.
   • The step counter will reset to zero (0) in the event a participant steps outside the Park gates, even if the participant returns to the Park on the same day.

5. Prize Redemption

   • Once the participant has successfully completed the Challenge, they will automatically receive a confirmation email with a unique code to claim their prize.
   • Prizes can be redeemed by the selected winner no later than 10 May 2026, on any day during Park’s opening hours.

6. Disqualification & Tampering

   • Global Village reserves the right not to allow a participant to enter the Draw or to receive the Prize if Global Village suspects that the step counter has been tampered with.

7. Non-Refundable & Non-Exchangeable Prizes

   • Prizes cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
   • Neither Global Village nor Carnaval will be responsible for any loss or damage to the Prize after redemption.

8. Park Operations & Closures

   • Global Village reserves the right to change Park opening times or temporarily close shows, attractions, rides, or facilities due to operational, technical, or maintenance issues, or private events, without prior notice or compensation.

9. Media & Photography

   • The participant acknowledges that Global Village may take pictures and record videos of winners while receiving or redeeming their Prizes for any promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media, TV, website, and the mobile application.
   • By accepting the Prize, the participant or their legal guardian, if applicable, irrevocably consents to and authorizes Global Village to use all such photographs and video recordings worldwide, for any purpose whatsoever. All photographs and videos will be the sole property of Global Village.

10. Prize Withdrawal

    • Global Village has the right to withdraw the Prize without compensation from any guest who does not comply with any of the Challenge’s Terms and Conditions.

11. Health & Risk Assumption

    • By taking part in the Challenge, the participant acknowledges and confirms that they are in good health and unconditionally assume the risk of participating in the Challenge.
    • The participant agrees to accept all responsibility for any damage, loss, disability, injury, illness, or death arising from participation in the Challenge, no matter what the circumstances.
    • In the case of participants under 18 years old, the accompanying parent/legal guardian unconditionally assumes the risk of the minor participating in the Challenge and agrees to accept all responsibility for any damage, loss, disability, injury, illness, or death arising from participation in the Challenge.

12. Limitation of Liability

    • Global Village assumes no responsibility, liabilities, claims, costs, and/or causes of action arising from or which may occur to the participants as a result of the Challenge.

13. General Terms

    • In addition to the above, all Global Village Park terms and conditions apply at all times.
