Consent and release

COMPETITON: Global Village and Bloom World Academy Young Director’s Award

By entering into the Competition, you agree and consent in your own right and on behalf of the Candidate as provided below:

1. You warrant that you have full legal capacity in relation to the Candidate to agree and consent to the matters contained herein.
2. You acknowledge that the Candidate may be photographed, recorded and/or videotaped by Global Village and/or its representatives in connection with the Competition (all such photographs, recordings and videotape shall hereafter collectively be referred to as the “Footage”) and consent to same.
3. You hereby consents to Global Village’s using the Footage in perpetuity, including the unlimited right to show, reproduce, broadcast, exhibit and/or use the Footage in any and all media (whether now known or hereafter devised) including, but not limited to, theatrically, on screen, on television, social media, recording media (whether physical and/or electronic) and interactive media worldwide, by any and all methods whatsoever without limitation. You hereby grant Global Village the right to use Candidate’s name, voice, likeness and/or biographical information, whether on-screen or not, and in connection with the distribution, exhibition, advertising and promotion of the Competition and for institutional advertising.
4. The consents and rights granted herein shall inure to the benefit of Global Village its affiliated companies, parents and subsidiaries and their respective licensees, successors and assigns, and all such rights shall be freely assignable by Global Village.
5. Should any provisions (or part thereof) of this consent and release become illegal or unenforceable, such illegality or unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of the release to the fullest extent permitted by law, unaffected and valid. The illegal or unenforceable provisions shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provisions which best reflects Global Village’s intentions in a legal and enforceable manner with respect to the invalid or unenforceable provision or portion thereof.
6. This consent and release shall be governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and applicable Federal UAE Law.
