Highlights of Season 27
Virgin Radio Birthday Concert
Number one artist RAYE, and Tinie Tempah, the MOBO and BRIT award-winning artist treated Global Village guests to unforgettable live performances at Global Village to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Virgin Radio Dubai.
Road of Asia
Guests got to experience the cuisine, cultures and colours of Asia as they sauntered down the Road of Asia in Season 27. This special pedestrian street brought the bustling atmosphere of the best Asian markets to Global Village with authentic street food, products and crafts from 13 Asian countries.
Competitions and raffle draws
From regular raffle draws to unique taxi and glass box challenges that were both engaging and entertaining, it really was a season of winning at Global Village!
Majlis of the World: Eid & Ramadan special
Friends and family gathered from Iftar to Suhoor in the beautiful air-conditioned, outdoor Majlis.
Concerts
From music to dance, Bollywood to hip-hop and regional beats thrown in, the Main Stage at Global Village played host to some of the world's most exciting performers and global superstars!
Events: So much to celebrate
From the Wonderers' Kids Fest with its giant classic board games, thrilling skill competitions, and interactive shows to the Happiness Street Fest that celebrated female talent from across the globe, every event at Global Village during Season 27 was a celebration of diversity, creativity, art, and culture.
Ripley's Believe It or Not!®
With many new additions and seven unique galleries featuring over 200+ exhibits, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® museum was more mystifying and delightful than ever.
Carnaval - All the fun of a fair!
With over 170 rides, games, and attractions to explore and enjoy, all visits to the Carnaval were filled with fun and wonder. It was home to some pretty epic rides for the young and the young at heart.
Aqua Action! Stunt Show
Combining new fire effects, street bikes, LED fly-board suits, monster trucks, Aqua Action! Stunt Show was full-throttle family fun! Jam-packed with explosions, drifting, back-flipping bikes, and precision driving that came with the insane car, jet-ski stunts, and fly-board action, it was a seasonal must-do!
Entertainment: Lively & vibrant shows!
Season 27 had a line-up of over 40,000 spectacular shows and special events for the whole family! From family-friendly shows with all-time favourite characters, to traditional cultural performances, street entertainment, dazzling Main Stage performances, and an awe-inspiring stunt show.
