Tribal Jungle

The first stop in Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® museum, this gallery is dedicated to a wild mix of personal artefacts collected by Robert Ripley, the founder of the museum. Among the over 220 rare and mesmerising artefacts, you’ll come face-to-face with shrunken heads, Chinese coin swords, a Japanese house shrine, and shadow art. Learn all about Ripley’s fascinating adventures around the world and the history behind each exhibit’s origins.

Human Oddities

Delve into the oddities of human nature in this next gallery where the exhibits leave you wondering about the thinking behind the artists. From prehistoric predators to incredible installations made from everything from buttons to matchsticks and even shredded money, the new exhibits at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!® are certain to enthrall and engage people of all ages. The new interactives are just as fascinating. Sit on the love chair for some romance advice or catch some floating heads in space for that one-of-a-kind out-of-body experience!

Warehouse

The Warehouse is where your disbelief and wonderment will be at their peak as you come across a 125 million year old coprolite (the scientific term for dinosaur dung!) as well as an 11-inch, true-to-size replica of a T-Rex tooth. There’s also the Bamboo Toothpick Capital, made of over 250,000 bamboo toothpicks! At each display, you’ll find your jaw dropping further and further.

Suggested duration: 10 minutes

Ripley’s American & Arabian

In his travels, Robert Ripley picked up quite a collection. Take a tour of his mementos with highlights including German Leather Money (from a time Germany had to resort to leather banknotes!), an Elvis Presley sculpture made from burnished steel, a toilet paper wedding dress, and a wooden Ferrari that can float!

Suggested duration: 10 minutes

Chamber of Horrors

Oddities and beguiling finds aren’t the only representation of our history. The Chamber of Horrors goes dark season but the torture devices remain just as menacing! Did you know lying was such a major crime in China at one point that those convicted would be roasted over an open fire? Or that religious infractions in Europe would force heavy, iron shame masks on the guilty? Between weapons like axes and daggers from African and South Asian tribes to Trench Art Bullet fashioned by soldiers stuck in foxholes during WWI, this exhibit will give you a good look into the macabre history of various cultures.

Suggested duration: 10 minutes

Space Gallery

You started from the past but you’re now in the future. The final gallery displays attractions and collections from outer space, including an exhibit dedicated to the UAE’s very own space expedition. In this out-of-this-world journey, you’ll see NASA Space Patches that are used to commemorate space missions and you’ll even come across a replica of Skylab II, the very first US space station. At the end, head through the Vortex Tunnel for a first-hand experience of vertigo, what astronauts feel on their descent down to Earth.

And if that's not enough for you space cowboys we'll have you reaching for your popcorn with our rotating exhibits. From iconic props and memorabilia like the Original Star Wars Screenplay and Han Solo’s Blaster and the original Back to the Future Part II Shoes and Back to the Future Part II Hoverboard, each one is a walk down movie memory lane!

Suggested duration: 10 minutes

Heroes Gallery

An exhibition for the hero and heroine in all of us, the new Heroes Gallery is inspired by some of the most beloved comic-book superheroes. Get ready to fly with Spiderman, save the world with Captain America, fight for peace with Wonder Woman, and rage with the Incredible Hulk. You get to meet all your favourites, thanks to this phenomenal experience.

And if that's not enough for you, then you ought to check out our new exhibits dedicated to Star Wars®, a must for all fans of the franchise. From the iconic Graflex Camera Lightsaber® to Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from The Empire Strikes Back, these exhibits are not to be missed. Whether you're a fan of the movies or just love to explore the original items from the franchise, you'd definitely want to check them out.
